Title:
POS Engineer
Location:
Dallas, TX
Duration: 4+ Months
- Support terminal devices, store controller servers, and combination controller/terminals – pin pads, cash registers, lane busting, RF guns, primary and secondary controllers
- Monitor all alerts proactively and mitigate risks
- Remote monitoring – Check lane availability and register/pin pad down and resolve
- 4-6 years hands on experience in Toshiba 4690 OS for POS – V6R4 onwards
- 3-5 years in C basic skills, File base (Mainframe/COBOL) – understand file system, UNIX scripting (batch scripting)
- Experience supporting terminal devices, store controller servers and combination controller/terminals – pin pads, cash registers, lane busting, RF guns, primary and secondary controllers
