Job DescriptionCDM Smith is looking for an entry‑level Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil Engineer to join our Water Services Group. This position presents an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to apply their engineering skills to innovative and sustainable water projects within a dynamic team.
Responsibilities- Support the design and implementation of water and wastewater treatment facilities, sewer systems, pipeline projects and associated infrastructure.
- Conduct site assessments, adjust design parameters to meet client specifications, and perform water‑quality analyses and modeling.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation, and collaborate on presentations for client meetings and industry conferences.
- Create documents and presentations using ArcGIS, HEC‑RAS, SWMM, CADD, Excel and related software.
- Participate in fieldwork to support construction management activities, gaining exposure to all phases of the project life‑cycle.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
- No prior work experience required; equivalent directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Domestic and/or international travel may be required (approximately 10% of work time).
- 1+ year of industry experience or a relevant Master’s degree.
