Smiths Detection is looking for a proactive Health & Safety Specialist to support our Field Service organization across the Central U.S. This is a great opportunity for an HSE professional who enjoys being in the field, partnering with frontline teams, and driving a strong safety culture across multiple sites.
In this role, you’ll:
- Conduct audits/inspections and risk assessments at Field Service locations
- Lead incident investigations
, root cause analysis, and implement sustainable corrective actions - Track regional HSE KPIs and drive improvements toward safety goals
- Support workers’ comp
, ergonomics solutions, and industrial health compliance
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of HSE experience supporting environmental and safety programs
- Bachelor’s degree (or relevant experience) and strong OSHA knowledge (OSHA 30 preferred)
- Comfort traveling to support field locations (~50% travel
)
