Position overviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead water and wastewater design projects for municipal and industrial clients throughout Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled professional passionate about water/wastewater design and project management. You will manage complex projects, ensure timely delivery, and foster relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities- Lead and manage water/wastewater design projects from initiation to completion.
- Oversee project teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, governmental agencies, and consultants.
- Mentor and develop junior engineering staff.
- Prepare and review project proposals, budgets, and schedules.
- Actively participate in business development activities to secure new projects.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to project standards and specifications.
- Prepare and present technical reports, presentations, and status updates to clients and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
- Texas PE License (required).
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater design and project management, with a focus on projects in Texas.
- Strong knowledge of water/wastewater design standards, local codes, and regulatory requirements in Texas.
- Proven leadership experience in managing large-scale, complex projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage client relationships and contribute to business development.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency with relevant engineering design software and project management tools.
