Position OverviewWe are seeking a talented and motivated Chemical Process Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience designing, scaling up, and optimizing chemical manufacturing processes from laboratory development through pilot and full‑scale production. As part of the Engineering team, this position provides expertise in chemical engineering, process development, process control, and P&. Acting as a technical leader, the role supports and ensures efficient, cost‑effective, and high‑quality process implementation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and scale‑up of chemical processes from lab to commercial scale, emphasizing reaction chemistry and process control.
- Apply engineering knowledge to create safe, scalable, and sustainable processes while improving efficiency and reducing costs.
- Collaborate with R&D and Operations teams to ensure seamless technology transfer and manufacturability of products.
- Design and develop PFD’s, P&’s, process controls, operating procedures and safety specifications for new and existing systems.
- Plan and analyze pilot‑scale studies to drive process improvements and implement new technologies.
- Troubleshoot processes and equipment, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to maintain quality and compliance.
- Support process safety engineering and operations through PHA, HAZOP, MOC and FMEA analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in laboratory, pilot or operations role as an engineer
- In‑depth knowledge of and experience with industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance
- Familiarity with mechanical systems and their integration with electrical components.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail with high standard.
