Water Resources Senior Project Manager

moonrise. is seeking a talented and ambitious professional Water Resources Senior Project Manager to join a mid‑sized civil engineering firm in Collin County, TX
. This team of water specialists has extensive experience and specializes in hydrology and hydraulic engineering services. They stay on the cutting edge of technology to provide the most accurate evaluation of flooding risk and to develop solutions to mitigate stormwater related issues such as flooding and erosion.

The ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years of diverse hydrologic and hydraulic stormwater modeling, drainage facility design, and project management experience supporting private and municipal projects. This position is responsible for complex engineering design tasks as well as marketing, business development, client contact, and growth of a drainage design team.

• Prepare, maintain and coordinate schedules of multiple concurrent projects
• Develop and track milestones to ensure on‑time and on‑budget delivery
• Extensive knowledge of various stormwater modeling software
• Supervise the work of engineers and/or technical support personnel
• Drainage facility design and other related design elements
• Oversee the technical aspects of various projects
• Managing the design and delivery of projects
• Mentor and supervise staff

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• At least 5-10 years of progressive experience in Water Resources
• Oral and written presentations and client meetings
• Hydrologic and hydraulic stormwater modeling
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Stormwater modeling/design
• Drainage facility design
• BS in Civil Engineering
