The North Tarrant Express 35W (NTE 35W) spans 16.8 miles from I‑30 in downtown Fort Worth to Eagle Parkway at the north end of Alliance Airport, adding capacity and using variable pricing to keep traffic moving.

The LBJ Express (LBJ) is the largest P3 operation in Texas, opening in September 2015 with a 60% decrease in congestion time and a 10% increase in average speed.

Job Description

We are seeking an entry‑level Environmental Health & Safety Supervisor to help build a world‑class safety program. The role requires a proactive self‑starter who will perform inspections, implement processes, conduct training, lead safety committee meetings, investigate incidents, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The successful candidate will work 2nd shift and be comfortable with evening and night safety inspections.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Inspect work areas for safety hazards and risks; develop inspection reports.
  • Schedule and conduct facility safety inspections and reports.
  • Develop safety processes as needed.
  • Communicate processes and procedures to management and employees.
  • Investigate work‑related incidents and assist with incident reporting.
  • Ensure workplace safety standards meet legal requirements.
  • Be available to assist with workplace incidents.
  • Promote and drive a Zero Incident Culture through engagement activities.
  • Develop, implement and manage policies, procedures, programs and databases in line with federal, state and company requirements.
  • Execute safety‑related training curriculum development and presentations.
  • Support the site Management of Change process, including safety risk assessment for new or modified equipment.
  • Manage employee health policies and initiatives, including injury management and corrective action plans.
  • Own the site contractor management program and conduct contractor safety orientations.
  • Respond to corporate HSE requests as necessary.
  • Ensure internal HSE program auditing is performed and confirms compliance with site standards and procedures.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities) Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Occupational Safety & Health or related technical discipline preferred.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in general industry, construction or transportation EHS role preferred.
  • OSHA 10‑Hr and 30‑Hr General Industry Training Certification preferred.
  • OHST/CHST certification.
  • Experience with KPA Learning Management System and Telematics.
  • Strong coaching, collaboration, and networking abilities.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills; ability to handle multiple tasks in a team environment.
  • Strong leadership, initiative, focus and follow‑through skills.
  • Excellent computer skills in standard office software.
  • Effective organization and planning skills.
  • Engineering aptitude.
  • Ability to adapt to different cultural environments.
