An established employee-owned engineering consulting firm with 25 offices and over 600 employees, has an opportunity available to join their Dallas, TX office as a Transportation Project Engineer. This firm offers significant growth opportunities and is committed to supporting staff with continuing education and leadership training.
Responsibilities
- Design calculations, preparation of plans, and schematics designs for road and highway projects.
- Supervise EIT’s and other entry-level employees.
- Production of Schematics, Plans, Specification
- Bachelor of Science Degree, Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer licensed in Texas
- 5 to 10 years of experience on transportation and roadway projects
- Proficient in Open Roads and Micro Station
- Experience in handling multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong communication skills will be used to work with clients and staff
- TxDOT precertification preferred
- Experience in basic hydraulics and drainage design desirable
