Job Description

STV is seeking an experienced and motivated
** Transportation Engineering Specialist (EIT)
** to design, and potentially manage, successful delivery of transportation infrastructure projects in Dallas, TX
** Functions and responsibilities include:
*** Design and prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for transportation infrastructure projects.
* Evaluate feasibility and impacts of design alternatives.
* Prepare calculations, technical analyses, reports, and other project related documents.
* Independently lead tasks as a part of multi-disciplinary project teams.
* Communicates professionally and effectively with teammates, clients, teaming partners, and other project stakeholders.
* Assists with and participates in project pursuits and business development, under direction of senior staff.
* Collaborating with other market leaders to identify and pursue new business opportunities, execute strategic plans, and foster strategic relationships with key clients, agencies, and partners.

* Qualifications:

*** Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
* Strong experience working with the Texas DOT, and other regional transportation agencies.
* Design experience on highway and transportation infrastructure projects.
* Successful completion of the FE exam (EIT certification) is required.
* Excellent command of Microstation/Open Roads and/or AutoCAD/Civil3D to design and produce plans for transportation projects.
* Demonstrated technical skills, communication skills and ability to work within diverse teams.
* Active membership and participation in professional societies is encouraged.

Compensation Range:$64,848.58 - $86,464.77
