Forensics MEP Engineer​/Project Manager - Diagnostics

Overview

Walter P Moore is seeking a Forensics MEP Engineer/Project Manager - Diagnostics. The role manages the technical production and contractual aspects of multiple projects within the Diagnostics Group, with a focus on restoration, rehabilitation, renovation, and forensics-related work. The candidate may also assist in marketing, business development, and growth of the Diagnostics Group. The MEP engineer should have experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, fire alarm, and controls in addition to forensic engineering work.

We require a high-energy, self-motivated project manager who can work within a strong team environment, serving clients on major projects across the United States and internationally. Technical specialization, proactivity, and assertiveness when meeting client and project needs are required.

• Manage the technical production and contractual aspects of multiple projects within the Diagnostics Group, with focus on restoration, rehabilitation, renovation, and forensics-related work.
• Serve as a Project Manager with required project management experience for the PM designation.
• Assist in marketing, business development, and growth of the Diagnostics Group.
• Apply expertise in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, fire alarm, and controls to forensic engineering projects.
• Maintain a high energy level, work within a team environment, and effectively serve clients on major projects (U.S. and international).
• Demonstrate technical specialization, proactivity, and assertiveness in meeting client and project needs.

• Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Professional Engineering license is required
• Litigation/forensics experience and attorney/insurance client relationships
• Microsoft Office (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT)
• Strong technical, written and verbal communication, including people management and customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
• Strong customer service focus
