The Opportunity

Representing a Leading Electrical Contractor in the Dallas–Fort Worth market, we are partnering with a well‑established electrical contractor to identify an experienced Electrical Estimator to support their growing commercial and public‑sector portfolio. This is a direct‑hire opportunity with a contractor known for quality execution, strong leadership, and a stable project pipeline.

Dallas–Fort Worth, TX

This role focuses on estimating ground‑up and renovation projects across commercial, K‑12, higher education, and municipal sectors. The successful candidate will work closely with preconstruction, project management, and field teams to deliver accurate, competitive electrical estimates.

• Prepare detailed electrical estimates for commercial and public‑sector projects
• Perform quantity takeoffs, labor/material pricing, alternates, and change orders
• Review drawings, specifications, and addenda to identify scope and risk
• Develop scope letters, inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing
• Support design‑build and preconstruction efforts, including budgeting and value engineering
• Assist with bid reviews and project handoff to operations

• 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator within commercial construction
• Proven experience with ground‑up projects
• Exposure to K‑12, higher education, or municipal work
• Strong knowledge of NEC and commercial electrical systems
• Experience with Accubid, Con Est, or similar estimating software
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu
• Field experience or journeyman background is highly valued
