Civil Engineer – Residential Land Development

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to take a leadership role in preparing high-quality construction drawings for single-family residential developments. This position offers the opportunity to guide a talented design team, collaborate with municipal agencies, and deliver exceptional results using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

• Oversee the production of construction plans for paving, grading, storm drainage, detention, water, and wastewater systems.
• Mentor and supervise design team members while ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Create and refine 3D surfaces using survey data, alignments, and profiles to ensure design accuracy.
• Work closely with internal teams and municipal staff to facilitate reviews and secure permits.
• Maintain organized design files for seamless collaboration across all stakeholders.

• Minimum 3 years in civil design, specifically in private single-family residential developments within the DFW area.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas or ability to obtain licensure within one year.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

This is a Contract position based out of Dallas, TX.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Dallas,TX.
