Our client is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer / Project Manager to join a nationally respected, employee‑owned engineering consulting firm in the Dallas area. This role offers the chance to lead meaningful public‑sector projects, mentor engineershme, actor in business development and client growth across Texas.

Base Pay Range

$/yr - $/yr

What You’ll Do
  • Lead planning, design, and project management for water resources and civil infrastructure projects
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, agencies, and internal teams
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and financial performance
  • Contribute to proposal development and business development efforts
  • Oversee and mentor engineers, including early‑career staff
  • Develop construction plan packages and stormwater or drainage studies
  • Support construction through oversight and technical guidance
What Our Client is Looking For Required
  • BS in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • 8+ years of experience supporting public‑sector engineering projects
  • At least 3 years of project management experience
  • Strong coordination skills with clients, agencies, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience with proposal writing, budgeting, and project financials
Preferred
  • Established relationships with Texas‑based clients
  • Interest or experience in business development
  • Experience managing and mentoring engineering teams
  • AutoCAD / Civil 3D and GIS proficiency
  • Hands‑on experience with HEC‑RAS (1D/2D), HEC‑HMS, SWMM, and HY‑8
  • Construction oversight experience
