Director of Inside Sales – Electrical Testing Services

We are seeking a Director of Inside Sales to lead and scale a technically focused inside sales organization supporting electrical testing and substation services. This role is ideal for a technically fluent sales leader who understands electrical apparatus, protective relay testing, and the tools used in modern power system testing.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technical inside sales representatives, setting clear expectations and driving performance.
• Serve as the internal technical authority on electrical apparatus and substation testing equipment.
• Provide guidance on protective relay testing methodologies, applications, and industry standards.
• Maintain a deep understanding of substation equipment, including breakers, transformers, switch gear, protective relays, batteries, and associated systems.
• Support and advise the sales team on selecting appropriate test equipment based on customer requirements, including platforms from Doble
  , OMICRON
  , Megger
  , and Vanguard Instruments
  .
• Oversee génére quoting, order management, and customer support processes to ensure accuracy, interessados, and technical integrity.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, field services, and product teams to support customer needs and drive revenue growth.
• Develop and implement training materials, onboarding programs, and processes to continuously elevate the technical capability of the sales team.
• Analyze sales performance metrics, identify growth opportunities, and implement strategies to improve team effectiveness and scalability.

• Strong technical understanding of electrical testing, substation systems, and protective relaying.
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing inside sales or technical sales teams.
• Ability to bridge technical knowledge with commercial strategy and customer-facing execution.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
