Responsibilities
The Summer Analyst will support the Related Digital team with all aspects of engineering design, development, and implementation for our data center infrastructure. The role focuses on analyzing current models for active data center projects to lower costs and drive efficiency and performance. This position is based in Dallas.
- Assist in reviewing and developing technical designs for power, cooling, and network infrastructure within data centers
- Support research and analysis of current projects to promote energy‑efficient solutions
- Assist in evaluating engineering plans to ensure alignment with industry standards and client needs
- Attend cross‑functional meetings with external clients and internal teams, including construction, operations, and design
- Stay up to date on emerging technologies in data center design, AI infrastructure, and high‑performance computing
- Current undergraduate junior with a target graduation date between December 2026 and Spring 2028
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering (industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, or related fields)
- Strong interest in data center infrastructure and sustainability
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills; high proficiency with Excel
- Experience with CAD design is a plus
- Shows a strong understanding of technical skills and job‑specific knowledge
- Demonstrates clear and concise communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Comfortable working with technical documentation and drawings
- Self‑starter with a proactive approach to tackling tasks and challenges
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic environment
- Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA
Hourly compensation: $25‑$30
