Responsibilities- A telecom designer designs advanced telecommunication system schematics to support projects in our Venue sector, prepares design documents and performs engineering calculations in coordination with project teams and multiple disciplines
- Assisting in developing overall telecommunication system schematics to support projects in our Venue Sector
- Assisting in the development of overall technology system design, layouts, details, rack elevations and schematics under the direction of a senior designer/engineer
- Performing necessary calculations and be involved in job site visits, construction observations and/or attend client meetings
- Working with architects, clients, contractors and project managers to create a successful outcome
- Managing multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
- Have at least 1+ years of telecommunications design experience
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of engineering (ie: mechanical, electrical, fire protection or architectural) and 1 year of relevant experience, or 3 years of experience without degree required
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Have fiber optic and copper structured cabling system design experience
- Have clear oral and written communication skills
