* Process Optimization working with Operations to monitor and recommend adjustments to plant processes
* Troubleshoot operational problems to determine causes and solutions
* Process model development and application as required to support Commercial requests, operations troubleshooting, and optimization
* Maintaining, updating, and calibrating process models to ensure accurate representations of equipment and processes
* Assist development and review of basic process design specifications in support of projects
* Provide preliminary process design specifications for equipment and instrumentation. Coordinate and collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure that procured equipment and instrumentation is exemplary for its intended use.
* Being a presence at processing facilities and soliciting input from Operations to identify issues, maintain high reliability, and increase asset performance. Provide preliminary scoping and development of projects to achieve these objectives
* Provide ongoing process engineering support for plant growth and technical projects
* Perform basic economic evaluations independently. Collaborate with personnel in Commercial, Engineering, and Operations to conduct in-depth economic evaluations.
* Coordinate field studies and implementation of improvements
* Provide technical support for matters related to process safety management including:
* Management of Change (MOC)
* Sizing, specification, and evaluation of over pressure protection systems
* Hazard identification and resolution
* Development and modification of operating procedures
* Travel to processing facilities as needed (~25% anticipated)
* Experience achieving goals and developing employee/team strengths, exhibiting a positive example and influence that leads to employee, project, and stakeholder successes
* Experience in use and function of applications such as:
Microsoft Excel, Project, Access, Word, etc.
