Sediment Remediation Practice Lead - Environmental Services

Join Burns & McDonnell as the Sediment Remediation Practice Lead within our Environmental Services Group. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead projects and business pursuits in the Sediments market, guiding a dedicated team towards profitable growth and project execution.

This role involves providing technical leadership in sediment remediation projects, including site investigation, remedy evaluation, design, construction, and restoration. The practice lead will also spearhead national business development efforts to expand Burns & McDonnell's sediment portfolio.

• Develop and execute strategic plans to capture project leads and expand sales in sediment remediation.
• Lead teams in investigations, feasibility studies, treatability studies, and remedial design and action.
• Manage staff and oversee data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
• Oversee large and complex sediment projects, including financial management and proposal development.
• Provide technical guidance and support client communications.
• Represent the company at professional meetings and develop client relationships.
• Ensure QA/QC adherence and safety compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Hydrogeology, or related field; 7+ years of consulting experience (15+ preferred).
• Master's Degree may substitute for one year of experience.
• Proven leadership in practice/business unit growth within remediation.
• Expertise in sediment fate and transport, remediation techniques, and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
