Position Purpose

At Rogers‑O’Brien, our MEP Managers ensure the seamless integration and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in construction projects. They play a crucial role in managing all MEP‑related aspects of a project to ensure these systems are installed on time, within budget, and meet quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design assistance, planning and quality control
  • Commissioning management
  • Reviewing and expediting submittals/approvals to ensure timely project completion
  • Support PM and Superintendent to plan, organize and supervise the work of the MEP trades
Skills & Qualifications
  • Degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, technology education or building construction/MEP, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial or industrial construction/MEP coordination
  • General understanding of building codes, mechanical codes, electrical codes and plumbing codes as they relate to construction projects
  • Experience in mechanical and electrical construction/MEP areas
  • Must have experience in leading project coordination, design assistance and commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems in healthcare, telecommunications, data centers or other mission‑critical projects
  • Strong leadership and relationship skills required
  • Have proven track record as an MEP Manager for related projects with MEP scopes
