We are growing the Avionics Engineering team to support development of the X‑BAT aircraft and the launch/recovery vehicle. Our team is designing a flight‑critical, custom avionics system to support communications, compute, AI, power, telemetry, and all other needed aircraft systems.

A Senior Electrical Engineer will be given ownership over part of the flight‑critical system design and work with all cross‑functional teams to execute.

• Circuit and sub‑system design for X‑BAT and its support equipment. This includes cradle to grave ownership of architecture, design, analysis, schematic capture, layout, verification, qualification, integration, and manufacturing.
• Work with mixed signal systems that include high‑speed digital, FPGA, compute, analog, power regulation, EMI/EMC, RF, etc.
• Execute test and qualification campaigns, including environmental test for vibration, altitude, radiation, thermal, humidity, etc.
• Lead system integration of your design, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Lead and mentor teammates.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams (mechanical, embedded, software, manufacturing, thermal, supplier development, reliability, supply chain, etc.).
• Help automate manufacturing test solutions for volume production.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.
• Strong technical fundamentals.
• Contributed to and led multiple product design cycles involving EE, ME, and SW engineering.
• Familiar with CAD software such as Altium or equivalent.
• Familiar with a PLM system such as Arena or equivalent.
• Demonstrated track record of extreme ownership, working hard, and delivering outstanding outcomes.

Salary compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.
