Overview
Senior Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist for our Central Region Environmental businesses in Baton Rouge, LA and Houston, TX. The role supports the Contamination Assessment & Remediation service line through coordination and implementation of a wide range of environmental solutions and projects. This role can be based in Baton Rouge, LA or Houston, TX.
Responsibilities- Preparation of technical correspondence, project proposals, reports, work plans, and project specifications
- Coordinate and implement project permitting
- Interpretation/evaluation of environmental regulations
- Data compilation, reduction, and interpretation
- Management of clients
- Development of business opportunities
- Mentorship of staff
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or related field
- PE or PG will be highly regarded
- 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting including environmental permitting & compliance, remediation & design, site assessments, report writing, data management & interpretation, project coordination, and managing clients
- Project experience in federal contracts beneficial
- Experience coordinating and simultaneously managing multiple tasks with attention to detail in a consulting environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work in a team and independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification a plus
- Ability and willingness to travel to client meetings is required
Base pay range: $86,600.00/yr - $/yr. Salary varies based on experience and location.
- 401K - Eligible to participate on the first day of the month following 3 months of service
- PTO starting at 16 days per year, increases with years of service
- Holiday Pay - 9 holidays per year
- Wellness Benefit - Reimbursement up to $250 annually for eligible items
