Senior Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist

Overview

Senior Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist for our Central Region Environmental businesses in Baton Rouge, LA and Houston, TX. The role supports the Contamination Assessment & Remediation service line through coordination and implementation of a wide range of environmental solutions and projects. This role can be based in Baton Rouge, LA or Houston, TX.

• Preparation of technical correspondence, project proposals, reports, work plans, and project specifications
• Coordinate and implement project permitting
• Interpretation/evaluation of environmental regulations
• Data compilation, reduction, and interpretation
• Management of clients
• Development of business opportunities
• Mentorship of staff

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or related field
• PE or PG will be highly regarded
• 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting including environmental permitting & compliance, remediation & design, site assessments, report writing, data management & interpretation, project coordination, and managing clients
• Project experience in federal contracts beneficial
• Experience coordinating and simultaneously managing multiple tasks with attention to detail in a consulting environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work in a team and independently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification a plus
• Ability and willingness to travel to client meetings is required

Base pay range: $86,600.00/yr - $/yr. Salary varies based on experience and location.

• 401K - Eligible to participate on the first day of the month following 3 months of service
• PTO starting at 16 days per year, increases with years of service
• Holiday Pay - 9 holidays per year
• Wellness Benefit - Reimbursement up to $250 annually for eligible items
