Overview

Senior Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist  Central Region Environmental team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana is looking for an Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist to contribute to the Contamination Assessment & Remediation service line through coordination and implementation of a wide range of environmental solutions and projects.

• Preparation of technical correspondence, project proposals, reports, work plans, and project specifications
• Coordinate and implement project permitting
• Interpretation/evaluation of environmental regulations
• Data compilation, reduction, and interpretation
• Management of clients
• Development of business opportunities
• Mentorship of staff

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or related field
• PE or PG will be highly regarded
• 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting including environmental permitting & compliance, remediation & design, site assessments, report writing, data management & interpretation, project coordination, and managing clients
• Project experience in federal contracts beneficial
• Experience in coordinating and simultaneously managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail in a consulting environment is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both within a team and independently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification a plus
• Ability and willingness to travel to client meetings is required

Salary: $86,600.00 - $, varies based on experience and location.

• 401K - Employees are eligible to participate on the first day of the month following 3 months of service
• PTO – 16 days per year starting, increasing with years of service
• Holiday Pay - 9 holidays per year
• Wellness Benefit - Reimbursement program up to $250 annually for eligible items
