About the Role:
Provide efficient client‑focused installation services for production equipment, following industry standards and regulations, while meeting project requirements for time, quality and cost. This position involves regular travel between Texas, Michigan and Tennessee to support industrial operations and client projects. Candidates must be willing and able to travel as required.
Main Responsibilities- Participate in project teams or execute technical services focused on the installation and assembly of industrial equipment.
- Plan and carry out the installation and assembly phases for equipment, systems, and deliverables assigned within projects.
- Perform material take‑offs (BOM), generate purchase requisitions, and monitor material deliveries. Define specifications and scope for subcontracted services and ensure proper reception, validation, and approval of those services.
- Manage, plan, supervise, and validate the work activities of assigned teams, ensuring workplace safety, workload balance, and appropriate rest periods.
- Support project managers and leads in maintaining positive client relationships, including participation in pre‑project estimations and commercial proposals.
- Plan daily activities, timelines, and deliverables according to project needs and assigned responsibilities. Supervise all field activities, safeguard tools and materials, and ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Ensure documentation accuracy by updating installation and assembly drawings. Maintain work logs, time schedules, quality checklists, and scope change records.
- Evaluate lifting and assembly maneuvers, assess risks, and propose preventive measures. Follow electrical and mechanical standards relevant to each assigned project.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Science.
- English proficiency B2 (spoken and written).
- Must be willing to travel frequently between Texas, Michigan and Tennessee to support project and client site operations.
- Must hold a TN visa or B1/B2 visa.
- Understanding of industrial automation equipment and technologies.
- Ability to document, supervise and instruct others.
- Knowledge of standards relevant to robotics and moving equipment (ANSI/RIA).
- Technical experience in tooling, conveyors and industrial construction equipment.
- Understanding of the operation of industrial machinery used in manufacturing.
- Advanced interpretation of assembly, electrical and mechanical layout drawings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project.
- Experience in project management and machinery installation activities.
