Optiv Energy Inc. is seeking motivated, organized and highly technical Field Service Technicians to join our team. As a Field Service Technician in the Renewable Energy industry, you will play a pivotal role managing various scopes of work on renewable energy power plants during construction and operations, with a focus on BESS and Solar technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our fast‑growing company, while making a positive impact on the environment.

• Travel to client service sites to oversee, install, and/or repair products and systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide technical support and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Train on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Document all service activities, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades, using our internal systems.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and technological advancements to enhance your expertise and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to promote a secure work environment.

• Technical Degree. Equivalent field experience will be accepted in lieu.
• Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or a similar role.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and/or energy systems.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to think on your feet and make sound decisions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to travel extensively to client sites, including overnight stays as required.
• Flexibility to work outside regular business hours and weekends, based on project needs.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
