Job Title: Testing Proctor
Reports To: Testing Supervisor
Job Type: Temporary / Part-Time / Project-Based - Limited Openings
Location: Dallas, TX
Salary: $20/hr

The Testing Proctor assists with the administration of large-scale, nationally standardized testing programs and/or classroom tests that may require special arrangements. This position plays a critical role in ensuring a secure, fair, and smooth testing experience for all candidates.

This project-based role provides an excellent opportunity for retirees or professionals seeking supplemental income. The assignment allows participants to contribute their expertise in a structured, short-term capacity.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain inventory and logs of secure, highly confidential testing materials
• Count and organize test materials; place tests in numerical order
• Distribute and collect answer sheets and test booklets
• Verify candidate identification and assign appropriate seating
• Monitor for and report breaches of test security
• Clarify test instructions when appropriate, without compromising test integrity
• Collect and account for all test materials at the end of each session
• Assist in ensuring testing procedures comply with standardized guidelines

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to remain alert, professional, and impartial throughout testing sessions
• Familiarity with standardized testing procedures is a plus
• Ability to handle confidential materials with discretion

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of at least one semester of standardized test administration
• OR an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check (clean background required)
• Preferred: Active or retired teachers
• Preferred: Recent proctoring experience
• Must be available to work the entire duration of the project
