Then this is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the kids in our community through imaginative learning and physical activity. We are looking to hire a high‑energy and kid‑loving instructor for the 1 to 8 age range who will lead our children in fun and educational activities while ensuring safety and enrichment for all.
Our ideal candidate has prior experience working with children (as a teacher, nanny, daycare, coach, youth leader, camp leader, etc.), and genuinely loves children. This position is excellent for someone interested in pursuing a career in early childhood education or teaching. High school diploma, preferably with some college - Transportation:
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, may need to work at multiple locations in a day - Schedule:
Consistently available most Monday‑Saturday mornings and/or afternoons, about 15 hours a week - Location:
Classes at schools, daycares, pre‑schools, parks, and recreational centers across Dallas County; may need to travel up to an hour
- Energy and personality that kids love to be around
- Physically active, healthy, punctual, and organized
- Ability to work with kids ranging from 12 months to 12 years old independently
- Demonstrates a history of integrity, doing what is right even when nobody is looking
- Always having a positive attitude
- Willingness to be silly and sing short songs (even at the expense of embarrassing yourself)
