OpportunityAlpha School is building an AI‑enhanced reading program that delivers measurable literacy gains in 2 hours compared to conventional schools’ entire day. This role blends direct student instruction with innovative program design, allowing you to shape individual reading journeys while constructing a system that scales core literacy competencies across multiple school sites.
What You Will Be Doing- Leading adaptive reading workshops focused on building core competencies in phonics, fluency, and comprehension.
- Creating personalized engagement strategies that resonate with students and foster enduring enthusiasm for reading.
- Interpreting student performance metrics to iteratively improve instructional methods and identify meaningful patterns.
- Partnering with engineering staff to assess and refine AI‑powered literacy platforms.
- Bachelor's degree plus advanced reading instruction certification (e.g., Orton‑Gillingham, Wilson, or comparable credential).
- Minimum 2 years delivering small‑group reading interventions to students in early elementary grades.
- Demonstrated ability to assess reading proficiency, organize student groups, and develop differentiated lessons independent of pre‑packaged curricula.
- Experience working with AI or adaptive learning platforms and adjusting instruction based on student interaction data.
- U.S. work authorization without requirement for sponsorship.

Working with usThis is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
