Education Coordinator, School of Public Health

Ut Southwestern Medical Center invites applications for the Education Coordinator, School of Public Health role.

Job Summary

Works under direction to coordinate administration of educational programs within the department or unit, including medical student education, graduate students, internship, residency, and postdoctoral fellowship programs.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate, supervise, and administer operations of the educational programs for maximum efficiency.
  • Manage clerical/administrative operations and workflow.
  • Oversee clerical and administrative support staff; supervise training and orientation.
  • Develop and oversee budgets related to the education office, approving expenditures and preparing financial summaries.
  • Create, review, and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with university and accrediting agency standards.
  • Maintain records and documentation of program participants, including performance evaluations, credentialing, and verification of training.
  • Prepare complex reports and surveys for university administration and accrediting agencies.
  • Manage recruitment and admission activities; coordinate brochure production, interview process, and applicant records.
  • Design, execute, and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure reliable financial information.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Process online forms for payroll, vacation/sick leave requests, insurance payments, supply ordering, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education
  • High School Diploma or GED.
Experience
  • 4 years related experience, or
  • Bachelor’s degree in lieu of experience.
