Mentor a High School Student! Help start bright futures with us.
Foundation For CHOICE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports low‑income youth through a 27‑week one‑on‑one mentoring program. As a volunteer mentor you will pair with a junior or senior at a Dallas ISD high school to guide them through college prep, business research, and senior year transition.
- Meet the student once a week for one hour.
- Use the complete online curriculum to lead them through college prep and senior‑year planning.
- Help the student research a business idea and prepare for senior year and beyond.
- Commit to the student for the entire school year and participate in in‑person meetings whenever possible.
Qualifications
- Volunteer mentor with a passion for supporting underserved high‑school students.
- Committed to meeting the student weekly and providing continuous guidance.
- Ability to follow the online curriculum and adapt lessons to each student’s needs.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to share personal college experience.
