The University of North Texas at Dallas invites applications for Physics Adjunct Instructor Positions for Academic Year . The successful candidate will be expected to achieve excellence in teaching and contribute to the development of the UNT Dallas Department of Natural Sciences. • Plan classes and implement and evaluate teaching/learning objectives and student learning outcomes.
• Undertake divisional and professional responsibilities of a part-time faculty member, including office hours.
• Provide instruction for General Physics, Physics for non-science majors, Astronomy, and the associated labs (most labs offered in the afternoon or evenings).
• Instruction for science lecture courses (Earth Science, Environmental Science) for non-majors may also be possible.

• A Master’s degree in Physics with outstanding teaching experience in teaching lower level Physics courses OR
• A Master’s degree in Science Education with at least 18 graduate hours in Physics with outstanding teaching experience in teaching lower-level science courses.

Adjunct faculty plans classes and implements and evaluates teaching/learning objectives and student learning outcomes. The successful applicant will be expected to provide instruction for assigned courses and fulfill divisional responsibilities, including office hours.
