Urgent Surgery Associates and North Texas Critical Care Associates are excited to invite a dedicated Surgical Critical Care Physician to join our dynamic, multidisciplinary team in the heart of Dallas, TX. About the Role

As a full-time Surgical Critical Care Physician, you will work at prestigious Level 1 and Level III trauma centers, specializing in:

  • Trauma care
  • Cardiothoracic surgery
  • Organ transplants
  • Advanced life support technologies, including ECMO and LVAD

You'll be managing complex cases in surgical ICUs, providing critical care to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality surgical critical care
  • Engage in teaching responsibilities for residents and fellows
  • Collaborate with a team of board-certified experts in various specialties
What We’re Looking For

We seek passionate individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Full-time commitment: 14 shifts/month (12-hour shifts) with flexible scheduling
  • Board Certification: General Surgery, Pulmonary Medicine, Anesthesia, or Emergency Medicine with Critical Care Fellowship training
  • Experience: Proficiency with ECMO and E-CPR preferred
  • Cardiothoracic ICU experience: Significant experience with LVAD and other mechanical cardiac support devices is a must
