The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology, is seeking a physician scientist specializing in thoracic oncology. This faculty position will conduct laboratory based translational research in lung cancer while providing clinical care to patients with lung cancer within the Cancer Care Outpatient building. The ideal candidate will actively contribute to existing clinical research opportunities and teaching of UTSW students, house staff and hematology/oncology fellows and will join a division of over 80 faculty with national reputations as clinicians and physician-scientists.

Applicant must have an M.D. degree or equivalent, from an approved LCME medical school and satisfactory completion of an Internal Medicine residency program from an ACGME accredited program. Candidate must be eligible for Texas medical licensure and be board certified in Internal Medicine. Board certification in Hematology/Oncology is preferred.
