The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular Surgery, is currently recruiting for a faculty member. Applicants must have a medical degree. Candidates must have completed a General Surgery Residency and Vascular Surgery Fellowship or an Integrated Vascular Residency Program. Candidates must be American board certified or board eligible in Vascular surgery and eligible for a Texas Medical License.
Successful candidates will be committed to patient care, resident, fellow and medical student education and scholarly activity that advance clinical medicine. Applicants will practice in new state of the art hospital facilities, primarily Parkland Memorial Hospital, but also Clements University Hospital, Dallas Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Texas Health Dallas and Frisco. Applicants will also practice in the outpatient vein center. This is an excellent opportunity for a vascular surgeon to join a busy academic practice.
