Be our next Project Architect
Your work environment at EXPIn this role, you will be a part of the Aviation, Transit and Commercial Buildings team, of the Buildings Sector
, based in Dallas, TX
- Lead and coordinate the technical development of projects working under Project Managers and Principals from Conceptual Design through Construction Documents and Construction Phase.
- Coordinate with a multi‑discipline team of architects and engineers, both in‑house staff and outside subconsultants, ensuring the project is detailed and executed to maintain the design concept with technical astuteness and within the project budget.
- Multi‑task and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Develop presentation documents and participate in presentations to clients.
- Develop design concepts under the leadership of the Principal Designer.
- Participate in design phase activities by providing expertise in detail development.
- Develop construction drawings and specifications for all project phases.
- Ensure that designs meet applicable building code requirements.
- Assist with all corresponding bid and construction phase activities in the office and in the field.
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Architecture required from an accredited university.
- Architectural license required.
- LEED AP a plus.
- Detailed knowledge of architectural and engineering practice with emphasis on design, design development, preparation of construction documents, preparation of specifications, building materials, construction costs, and building codes.
- Must be proficient with AutoCAD & Revit.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
