Your Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and motivated Interior Designer to join our Dallas, Texas office. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of project types including corporate commercial, housing, hospitality and similarly design‑related projects. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and contribute to technically sophisticated, design‑focused work.

The Interior Designer will be involved in projects from early concept through construction and installation, supporting interior architecture, furnishings, art and accessory specification, as well as procurement packages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in interior design from project inception through construction and closeout
  • Contribute to programming, space planning, and concept development in coordination with project architects and design leadership
  • Translate design concepts into cohesive interior environments aligned with architectural intent and client goals
  • Prepare interior design documentation including plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules
  • Research, select, and specify materials, finishes, lighting, fixtures, furnishings (FF&E), art, and accessories
  • Develop finish palettes, FF&E packages, and presentation materials for client and internal review
  • Coordinate with manufacturers, product representatives, furniture dealers, and vendors to ensure alignment with design intent, budget, and schedule
  • Stay current on emerging materials, products, and industry trends
  • Work collaboratively with architects, interior designers, consultants, and external partners
  • Coordinate with lighting designers, engineers, contractors, fabricators, and specialty consultants
  • Support client presentations and incorporate feedback throughout the design process
  • Assist with maintaining project schedules and interior design deliverables
  • Support the procurement process, including specifications, pricing coordination, and vendor communication
  • Assist with furniture, art, and accessory purchasing, tracking, and logistics
  • Participate in installation coordination, punch walks, and final styling as required
  • Help ensure quality control and adherence to design intent through fabrication and installation
Your Capabilities and Credentials
  • Interior Design license (or actively pursuing licensure, as applicable)
  • Proficiency in Revit and Enscape
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and In Design
  • Knowledge of rendering software programs preferred
  • Strong understanding of interior construction, detailing, and FF&E documentation
  • Familiarity with building codes, accessibility standards, and industry best practices
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design from an accredited university
  • 2+ years of professional interior design experience preferred, ideally within an architecture or multidisciplinary design firm

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
