The Associate Product Development Designer will be an integral part of the Rug Development Design team.
Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:- Creating rug weaving specifications and designs in response to given briefs and amending designs where necessary
- Quality control: analyze rug production and samples for rug weave specification accuracy
- Prepare yarn cards and rug poms for client presentations
- Maintaining and organizing development samples, color tools, and studio working spaces
- Prepare warps and wefts, dress loom
- Weave rug samples
- 3+ years textile design / weaving experience
- Graphic art / print experience
- Knowledge of fabric / weave structure
- Must be detail-oriented, organized and punctual
- Strong problem-solving skills, organizational habits, and team player
- Knowledge of computer-aided design programs (such as Ned Graphics / Texcelle, and Adobe Suite)

$55,000-$58,000 per year
