The Digital Content Creator is responsible for developing engaging and high-quality written, visual, and digital content that supports the organization’s social media presence and brand management. This role focuses on creating, scheduling and promoting content across digital platforms to drive engagement, awareness and consistency in messaging. The Digital Content Creator collaborates closely with team members to ensure brand consistency and alignment with organizational priorities.

DUTIES

AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Creates and edits marketing content for use across digital and social channels.
  • Develops and executes digital marketing strategies utilizing content scheduling and management software to ensure consistent, timely distribution across social media platforms.
  • Stays current on social media trends, tools and technologies to enhance the Association’s social media impact.
  • Captures photo and video assets at Association events, programs, and meetings for use across social media, websites, email campaigns, and other digital channels.
  • Manages and oversees the organization’s podcast initiatives, including scheduling, coordinating recordings, editing content, and promoting episodes across digital platforms.
  • Collaborates with internal department management to identify content opportunities, gather stories, testimonials, and success highlights for publication.
  • Conducts interviews and gathers information for Association initiatives.
  • Ensures all content adheres to the organization’s brand voice, editorial standards, and messaging guidelines.
  • Monitors social media engagement and performance metrics to measure effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Willing to travel to other Association service center locations or events as needed to support content creation efforts.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the Marketing Manager.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred.
  • 2–4 years of experience in social media content creation, marketing, or communications.
  • Demonstrated experience creating, managing, and publishing social media content across multiple platforms.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools, content scheduling software, and social media analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of video and camera operation for live and still photography.
  • Experience with audio and video production, including editing and post-production tools.
  • Must be able to legally work in the United States without sponsorship.
OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills with attention to tone, clarity and accuracy.
  • Strong organization and time management skills in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a creative and cross-functional team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools.
  • Ability to adapt content style for different audiences and formats.
