Event Coordinator

Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 / hour

Description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team. As an Event Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in planning and executing a variety of events, ranging from corporate meetings to large-scale conferences and social gatherings. Your creativity and organizational skills will be essential in creating memorable experiences while ensuring that all aspects of the event run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of events from conception to execution.
  • Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences for their events.
  • Select and negotiate with vendors, venues, and service providers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop detailed event plans and timelines to monitor progress and ensure timely execution.
  • Manage event budgets, including preparing expense reports and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Oversee event logistics including transportation, catering, audiovisual needs, and seating arrangements.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or similar role in organizing successful events.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in executing multiple projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and vendor interactions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently manage projects.
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
