We are seeking a Junior Estimator to support preconstruction cost planning, bid preparation, and pricing analysis for commercial and civil construction projects.
Responsibilities- Assist in preparing quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and bid packages across multiple trades
- Review drawings and specifications to support accurate budgeting and scope development
- Gather and organize subcontractor and supplier pricing for estimate comparisons
- Support senior estimators with bid leveling, document control, and proposal assembly
- Help identify scope gaps, pricing risks, and value engineering opportunities
- Maintain organized estimate files and assist with managing multiple bid timelines
- 1+ years of construction estimating experience or internship exposure in commercial construction
- Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and project documentation
- Familiarity with estimating software, digital takeoff tools, and blueprint reading
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a deadline driven environment
