Overview
- Lead estimation processes for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in cost analysis and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop comprehensive budgets and schedules, optimizing project outcomes.
- Utilize industry-standard software and methodologies to prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals.
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to identify cost-saving opportunities and potential risks.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and material costs to ensure competitive estimates.
- Contribute to the development of company-wide estimation standards and best practices.
- Provide expert guidance to junior estimators and support their professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in estimation practices.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Review project plans and specifications to identify scope and requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure alignment of estimates with project goals.
- Conduct site visits to gather necessary data for accurate estimations.
- Analyze historical data and market trends to refine estimation accuracy.
- Develop and maintain estimation templates and tools for consistent application.
- Participate in bid preparation and presentations to clients.
- Monitor and report on estimation performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelor of Science in Architecture Technology or related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction estimation, with managerial responsibilities preferred.
- Proficiency in industry-standard estimation software and tools.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate cost analysis.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and market trends.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of professional ethics and compliance.
