Position SummaryThe Construction Project Manager leads construction management activities, provides project management leadership for multiple projects so that project work is completed on or ahead of schedule, on or under budget and that all internal and external stakeholders receive open and prompt communication of goals, objectives and timelines. Additionally this role involves assessing property conditions, determining necessary maintenance, construction and repairs, coordinating with contractors, and managing projects to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
EssentialFunctions
- 5+ years of experience in construction, project management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction, building systems, and construction practices.
- Experience in contractor and contract management.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Procore project management software.
- Familiarity with affordable housing compliance and regulations.
