Broaddus & Associates is hiring an experienced Construction Project Manager to drive excellence in our DFW market. Help us deliver innovative, owner-focused solutions for premier institutional and educational clients.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Lead and manage moderate to complex construction projects from initiation through closeout.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison for stakeholders, including clients, design professionals, and contractors.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and procurement processes with minimal supervision.
- Organize and lead project meetings, ensuring clear communication, documented decisions, and timely follow-up actions.
- Oversee contract administration, including the review and processing of change orders, pay applications, and compliance with scope.
- Proactively identify and resolve project conflicts, mitigating risks to ensure successful project delivery.
- Maintain thorough and accurate project documentation and provide regular status reports to leadership.
- Ensure all work is performed in alignment with project goals, company core values, and industry best practices.
- 3-7 years of professional experience in construction project management, preferably in an Owner's Representative, general contractor, or architecture/engineering firm setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with cloud-based project management information systems (PMIS) such as Procore, e-Builder, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Working knowledge of contract administration and change order processes.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, LEED AP, or CCM.
- Familiarity with integrated project delivery methods (e.g., CMAR, Design-Build).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively.
