Role SummaryWe are seeking a Safety Coordinator to support our growing operations in Dallas. This is a newly created, growth-focused position, designed to support expanding project volume in the Dallas market.
On-site & ReportingThe Safety Coordinator will be on-site in Dallas-Fort Worth daily, reporting directly to the Director of Environmental Health/Safety, and will receive hands-on mentorship and support with a clear path for long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities- Enforce safety policies, procedures, and site-specific safety plans with zero deviation
- Conduct daily site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
- Support incident reporting, investigations, and corrective action tracking
- Lead and/or support toolbox talks, safety orientations, and training sessions
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and airport-specific safety requirements
- Act as the on-site safety authority, empowered to stop work when necessary
- Escalate safety concerns or pushback directly to senior safety leadership when required
- Collaborate closely with project teams while maintaining independence as a safety professional
- Support the continued development of company safety culture across the Texas operation
Experience
- 2–4 years of safety experience, ideally within a General Contractor environment
- Prior exposure to large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects strongly preferred
- Experience working in active construction environments with multiple stakeholders
- Degree not a necessity
- Candidates without a degree considered with 2-4 years of experience
- Candidates with a degree considered with 1-2 years of experience
Additional Qualifications
- Solid understanding of construction site dynamics and GC expectations
- Coachable, motivated, and eager to develop
- Confident communicator with the ability to enforce standards professionally
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
