Senior Construction Manager | Hotel and Resort Renovations | Dallas, TX

$130,000 – $170,000 base salary range

Blayze Group is partnering with a vertically integrated hospitality real estate business to appoint a Senior Construction Manager within its general contracting division
. My client operates as both a hotel owner developer and a self performing construction partner, delivering renovation and capital improvement projects across its own hospitality portfolio.

This role sits on the GC side of the business, providing hands on leadership across planning, design coordination, construction, and close out, while working closely with internal ownership, asset management, and hotel operations teams. The environment demands deep hotel experience and the ability to deliver complex renovations within live operating hotels and resorts.

Hotel construction experience is essential.

• Lead the delivery of hotel and resort renovation projects from preconstruction through completion
• Manage subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers across all construction disciplines
• Coordinate construction activity with hotel General Managers, Directors of Engineering, and brand representatives
• Develop and manage project schedules, phasing plans, and site logistics for live environments
• Control project budgets, change management, cost reporting, and forecasting
• Support preconstruction activities including scope reviews, procurement strategy, and subcontractor negotiations
• Ensure construction aligns with brand standards, design intent, and operational requirements
• Oversee FF&E installation in coordination with hotel operators and internal teams
• Manage permitting, inspections, quality control, and safety compliance
• Lead site meetings, reporting, and project close out activities

• Minimum 5 years experience in construction management
• Clear and recent experience delivering hotel or resort renovation projects
• Experience working for a general contractor, ideally on hospitality projects
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, phasing, brand standards, and guest impact
• Proven ability to manage schedules, subcontractors, and cost controls under pressure
• Commercially astute, detail focused, and confident operating in live environments
• Willingness to travel as project needs require
• Candidates without direct hotel renovation experience should not expect alignment.
