Job Overview
We are seeking a Site Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have general construction knowledge and must have commercial waterproofing knowledge, as well as good communication skills.
This position requires overseeing and completing jobs through completion, forecasting job delays or starts, controlling job production, completing safety reports, JHA’s, time sheets, and progress reports. Evaluate material consumption and follow up with management. Additional tasks include crew management, evaluating safety hazards, daily photo updates, sending formal correspondence to superintendent team and GC/Client, and maintaining project schedules.
The candidate should be experienced in communicating construction services and expectations with clients and management team, coordinating with other trades on site, delegating responsibilities to crew members, ensuring safety compliance and quality standards, reviewing construction documents for scopes of work and specifications, attending project meetings, and maintaining communication with contractors and project teams.
Responsibilities- Optimize job tasks, schedule, and manpower on site.
- Keep team updated on completion goals.
- Effectively communicate job status with superintendent team.
- Organize and plan job tasks and schedules.
- Coordinate crew members to ensure jobs are completed on time and within budget.
- Complete field crew timesheets and daily progress reports.
- Conduct Safety Toolbox Talks & JHA Reports.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- 3+ years of experience in construction with at least 1 year in waterproofing.
- Ability to read construction documents.
- Familiarity with regulatory construction standards.
- Strong leadership qualities and communication skills.
- Deadline and detail-oriented.
