Insight Global is seeking a qualified Construction Project Manager who sits in Dallas, TX to join a national architectural, interiors, program and construction management and Infrastructure firm based in Washington, DC.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing capital construction projects, preferably within K–12, municipal, or public-sector environments.
- Demonstrated experience serving as an Owner’s Representative or PM/CM.
- Strong working knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, cost control, and contract administration.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in active or occupied facilities.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management platforms (e.g., Procore, Unifier, e-Builder, or similar systems).
- Serve as the company's on-site Owner’s Representative for assigned capital projects.
- Manage projects through all phases including planning, design, procurement, construction, closeout, and occupancy.
- Develop, review, and monitor project schedules; identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Review budgets, cost estimates, change orders, and pay applications to ensure fiscal control and bond compliance.
- Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, inspectors, and testing agencies to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Facilitate project meetings; document decisions, track action items, and communicate status to leadership.
- Review submittals, RFIs, and construction documentation for completeness and compliance with contract requirements.
- Support quality assurance and quality control efforts throughout design and construction.
- Coordinate with departments including Facilities, Operations, Safety, IT, and campus leadership.
- Prepare clear and accurate project reports, logs, and documentation using approved systems.
- Support community engagement efforts and respond to stakeholder inquiries as required.
- Ensure compliance with policies, Texas public procurement regulations, and PMF standards.
