Junior Construction Project Manager Job Description Position Summary

Maman is a French-inspired café, bakery, and lifestyle brand known for its warm hospitality, thoughtful design, and attention to detail. As we continue to expand across the U.S., the Construction Project Manager will play a critical role in bringing new café locations to life by ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with brand and operational standards.

This role serves as the primary local point of contact for construction projects in the Dallas market, partnering closely with the Construction team, Operations, vendors, and external partners. The Construction Project Manager supports multiple projects simultaneously and plays a key role in the successful transition from construction through store opening.

• Project Management & Construction Oversight
  • Serve as the main point of contact for new construction projects and renovations in the Dallas market
  • Coordinate with the internal Construction team on timelines, budgets, progress tracking, and issue resolution
  • Attend site walks and verify construction conformity with plans, specifications, and brand standards
  • Monitor construction progress and proactively flag risks, delays, or quality concerns
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
• Inspections, Permitting & Compliance
  • Be present for inspections including Building, Fire, and Health
  • Support and track permitting processes in coordination with internal teams, consultants, and local authorities
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and safety requirements
• Vendor & Partner Coordination
  • Act as the local point of contact for general contractors and key vendors
  • Coordinate deliveries and on-site reception of equipment, furniture, and fixtures
  • Manage vendor relationships including grease trap, hood service, fire certification, equipment installers, and maintenance providers
  • Support issue resolution and ensure work is completed to quality and timing expectations
• Pre-Opening & Handover Support
  • Manage end-of-construction activities including punch lists and close-out documentation
  • Support the transition from construction completion to operations handover
  • Coordinate pre-opening readiness including POS setup and overall site readiness
  • Partner with Operations to ensure a smooth and successful store opening

• 2 to 5 years of experience in commercial construction
• Background as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, or Superintendent preferred
• Hospitality or restaurant construction experience strongly preferred
• Hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable working in active construction environments
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to travel locally within the Dallas market
