Plumbing Inspector

Aoka is a third-party municipal services provider serving jurisdictions across Texas. We support local governments with expert building inspections, plan reviews, and code consulting-powered by our proprietary software that accelerates inspection turnaround times and helps prevent costly construction delays.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in plumbing inspections with TSBPE Plumbing Inspector License required.
• Well-organized in record keeping and willing to learn new inspection or permitting software.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect construction projects to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, building/plumbing codes, and safety regulations; report discrepancies and potential issues.
• Review project documents, attend pre-construction meetings if needed, and coordinate with contractors and local jurisdictions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare clear, timely reports based on observations and materials used or delivered.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns from clients and contractors, and offering practical solutions.

Compensation and Benefits:

• $60,000 - $70,000 yearly salary, depending on work experience and certifications held
