Project Manager

A well-established General Contractor in Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead ground-up commercial construction projects. This is a long-term opportunity with a company known for high-quality execution and consistent repeat business.

Base Pay Range

$/yr - $/yr

About the Role

The Project Manager will oversee all phases of construction, from preconstruction through project closeout. The ideal candidate will have experience managing commercial ground-up projects ranging from $5M to $25M, possess strong leadership skills, and have the ability to collaborate effectively with owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, scheduling, budgeting, and overall management of assigned construction projects
  • Coordinate and communicate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
  • Manage project financials including cost tracking, forecasting, and change orders
  • Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and company standards
  • Oversee project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and contracts
  • Maintain a focus on safety, quality, and schedule adherence
  • Participate in project meetings and report on status and progress
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a commercial general contractor
  • Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Proficiency with construction management software (Procore preferred)
  • Ability to lead a project from preconstruction to closeout with minimal oversight

    Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with commercial retail, office, mixed-use, or light industrial projects
