Experienced Site Construction Manager

Overview

Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position available for an experienced site construction manager.

Leading construction administration activities for multi-discipline construction projects in accordance with the project contract and schedule; conducting daily construction inspections to ensure proper installation of equipment; managing the flow of project communications including submittals, RFI's and supplemental instructions; ensuring safety standards are being followed; creating daily construction reports. Travel to construction sites is an essential function of this position; a valid driver's license is required.

The successful candidate must have a combination of education and/or experience totaling eight years of relevant experience. Any of the following is acceptable:

• Associate degree in construction management, engineering, or related discipline plus six years of experience;
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or related discipline plus four years of experience;
• No degree plus eight years of experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:

• Construction management for three or more projects valued at $50M (or greater) in size;
• Pre-cast concrete food plant construction;
• Construction scheduling;
• Processing paperwork such as RFI's, change orders, supplemental instructions, request for payment, etc.;
• Arranging and conducting site meetings.
